How The HAT at East Village collects, uses and protects the personal information you share with us.

When you register, book a tour or apply for a suite, we collect the information you give us — name, email address, phone number, move-in timing, floorplan preference, and anything you write in a message field. If you apply to lease, we also collect the information required to assess an application, including employment, income and reference details.
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, schedule and follow up on tours, assess rental applications, administer a tenancy if you become a resident, and — where you have consented — send you occasional updates about availability at The HAT communities.
We share personal information with service providers who help us operate: our registration form provider (Typeform), leasing software, tour scheduling tools, credit and reference check providers, and email delivery services. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We do not sell personal information.
This website may use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors find and use the site. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to follow up and for a reasonable period afterwards, and tenancy records for as long as required by law. Unsuccessful applications are retained only as long as necessary and then securely destroyed.
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Call the leasing office at 403.264.1303 and we will respond within the timelines set out in applicable privacy legislation.
